


Dr William Davey LVO MD LRCP FFHOM AKC
When he took early retirement from his appointment as Physician to Her Majesty the Queen in 2001, he was honoured by Her Majesty with the award of Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order.
Whilst at the same time practising as a General Physician in his London practice, first in Harley Street then at 1 Upper Wimpole Street, Dr Davey pursued his interests in research.
These involved not only orthodox medicine but also in the wider field of complementary medicine..
His wide range of research activities has involved:
This resulted in the discovery of a new anti-MRSA and anti Tuberculosis chemical,naturally found in Bee Propolis.
This he did as Blackie Research Fellow at the National Heart and Lung Institute in London.
This culminated in the award of an MD from Imperial College London.
During his career Dr Davey has worked at the Tunbridge Wells Homoeopathic hospital and also the Royal London Homoeopathic hospital.
He was instrumental in establishing the first Chair of Complementary Medicine at the Peninsular University at Exeter.
In the last 10 years Dr Davey has developed a special interest in nutrition and stress management. This has culminated in his developing a new approach to weight control and longevity called The GeneticTransformation Diet.
Dr Davey is a Freeman of the City of London and a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Barber Surgeons and the Worshipful Company of Apothecaries.
He is currently available for consultation in nutrition, weight loss programs and appropriate lifestyle advice.
